Winter Break and Schedule Update

Hello friends and patrons of Café Matisse! We had a great New Year’s Eve to kick off 2024. Thank you to those of you who joined us over the holiday season. We have just come back from the short winter break, a little respite, during which I had the time to sit and create my new Winter menu which is now in place. We just reopened last Friday. We had a good Friday night, a good Saturday night, and a lot of good response to the new menu, a lot of fun for us. I had fun cooking it. Also, I have been outlining my cookbook that I’ve been working on for some time now. I have been putting it together and writing recipes so you can try some of these great dishes at home! Please look forward to that, coming soon in the near future. Also, we have a new name, Matisse One Sixty Seven! We are in progress with changing our restaurant’s name from Café Matisse to Matisse 167. Café always lent itself to a coffee shop, so we think there was some confusion there, especially with the way social media picks up names and assigns meaning. So, you’ll be seeing that on Facebook and our posts and our different ways that we communicate with you. We just feel it’s time for a new name to rejuvinate something that’s been around for a while. Matisse 167, to me, sounds a little bit more sophisticated. It’s kind of fun. Thank you for your support of Cafe Matisse all these years. We truly appreciate that, and hope you will come enjoy us now as Matisse 167. Lastly, we look forward to seeing you soon for Valentine’s Day Week! Our next big event coming up.
